A Dussehra celebration turned into one of the darkest nights in Indian railway history. 💔 On October 19, 2018, at least 59 people lost their lives in the Amritsar train tragedy while watching Ravana Dahan near the railway tracks. The Jalandhar–Amritsar DMU struck the crowd first. As people rushed to the other tracks to escape, the Amritsar–Howrah Express hit those trying to save themselves. What should have been a night of celebration became a heartbreaking tragedy that left families shattered forever. Never forget the lives lost that night.

During the argument, she is seen tearing her own clothes and then accusing the TTE of touching them. TTE had been recording the incident throughout and calmly asked her to call 112. This is exactly why railway staff need proper protection and body cameras while dealing with such situations.

A man was travelling peacefully in an Indian Railways sleeper coach when a transgender approached and pulled him into an unwanted hug. Such behaviour should not be treated as entertainment. Passengers deserve personal space and consent, regardless of who is involved.
