This family is based in the UK but built a mansion in Lagos with no occupant. If you are going to abandon a house in Nigeria then someone should be able to inspect and clean it regularly for you. If someone did, they would have discovered this issue. This is also one of my concerns with Solar panels. When holes are drilled on a roof without proper sealing, this is the outcome.

A house built and abandoned in the village is rotting away. If people were paying property tax by value and land size in Nigeria, they will think twice before building or buying anything. They will even sell properties they no longer need instead of leaving it to rot away.

I just stumbled on a 1 hour+ documentary on Tinubu, titled “Unmasking The Real Bola Ahmed Tinubu” which caused him to sue AIT for N150 Billion. The documentary was aired on AIT on March 1st 2015, and was repeated daily. Tinubu brought an ex-parte motion before a Lagos High Court seeking an order of interim injunction restraining AIT whether by itself, agents, privies and or other persons from producing or continuing to broadcast, air or reproduce the documentary. AIT responded swiftly describing Tinubu’s claims and demands as laughable and demanded an apology from Tinubu. Despite his earlier threats, AIT continued to air the documentary!

He didn’t think it was injustice when it happened to someone else. He said we shouldn’t boycott Erisco foods because the man is right for oppressing Chioma. So I also think that whoever locked him up is 100% right! He should have kept his mouth shut and not prattle on every topic. I wonder where his millions of followers are and why no one is calling for his release. #BoycottEriscoFoods

Festus Keyamo was disgraced at the NASS today during his Ministerial clearance and he sat there like a doll staring at these senators picking on his flesh. Their anger is that, during the Buhari administration, Keyamo was invited to explain a Special Public Works programme his ministry supervised, but he didn’t honour the invitation. Instead he went to the media to accuse the senate of fraud. The Special Public Works programme was coordinated by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) and had in 2020 earmarked N52 billion for the programme to recruit 1,000 youths from each of the 774 local governments for three months, and pay them N20,000 each but many people didn’t receive that money, and Keyamo refused to account for it. So because of that, the senators decided to suspend his Ministerial Screening until he explains what happened to that project.
