Dionisi: sorry for supporters but wasn’t another possibility. Result terrible but Championship more important. Can’t play 2 comps at moment. Impossible to play every 3 games with same team. Young players aren’t ready. Need new players to complete team. BBC Sport Three Counties #WatfordFC

Holloway offered to substitute Drinan back off when they all realised the mistake he wasn’t on official team sheet. Can’t see how they won’t get disqualified despite beating Luton - even a Swindon player admitted that as walked past me after in tunnel. #Hatters BBC Sport Three Counties

Dionisi: Happy with 1st half not 2nd. Not compact enough. Played too long. “It’s not easy with 2 young strikers. Our number 9 needs to improve for the future” Concerned with having only 2 CBs. “I speak every day about this” #WatfordFC

Dionisi delighted with Watford win. Pleased with display 1st half particularly out of possession and how they were set up. Understandably tired in 2nd half so went more into a low block. Wants more #WatfordFC depth and is ‘very, very tired’! Pleased with atmosphere too👇

Felt like a significant win for Tom Cleverley today. Players fighting for him, fans fighting for him by their support and his animated response to them at the end. Continues to do well particularly when under pressure. #WatfordFC BBC Sport Three Counties
