Paul Gilbert plays Ozzy’s “I Don’t Know”, and he plays the whole thing. The vocal melody AND Randy Rhoads’ guitar parts, all on one guitar at once. Fitting tribute. Gilbert learned from Rhoads himself at a 1982 seminar. Here he is in Seoul, honoring two legends now gone.

Every year, Rory Gallagher came home to Cork to play Macroom, Ireland’s first open-air rock festival. In 1978, he made it legendary. He rolled up in a car, grabbed his battle-scarred ‘61 Strat, ran straight up the steps with no soundcheck, and tore into “Shin Kicker.” Pure rock and roll.
