Footage: Mock burial in Lagos for Former President Dr. kwame Nkrumah, (May 1972), whose body was still being held by the Government of Guinea, was honoured with a symbolic burial in Lagos, Nigeria. He died in Romania on April 27. On April 30 his body was flown to Conakry, Guinea.

In 1970, a Ghanaian Air Force Aircraft crashed in dense jungle near Daboasi village in Western Ghana. There were no survivors among the crew of seven. The aircraft, a "Beaver", was on a routine flight from the coastal town of Takoradi to Kumasi.

Footage: Body of Obetsebi-Lamptey exhumed at nsawam cemetery & given proper burial at osu cemetery, 1967. He had been detained by the Nkrumah regime after allegedly responsible for the attempt on Nkrumah’s life. He died while in detention in 1963.
