This was the mood of Ghanaians when Nkrumah was overthrown. Most Ghanaians today would have hated Nkrumah but our social studies books and the hero worship Nkrumah created around himself has made discussing Nkrumah an emotional topic. Under Nkrumah, you couldn't criticise him. The media was not allowed to publish anything negative. His political opponents were jailed. And private business was difficult. Most of the factories and state institutions had failed due to corruption, nepotism and incompetence in the 1960s. Talking about the ills of Nkrumah today seem likes talking about a religious figure. I hope one day our social studies books will show us the good and bad of each government from 1957. Show us all the records of each government across all sectors, the projects they started, those they inherited, when each was completed, the length of years each had and the amount of wealth each had. May be then, we would have an open mind about the Nkrumah conversation.

Ashanti Region has the second highest literates in Ghana. NDC got more votes from Ashanti Region in 2020 than from Volta. Ashanti Region is the 2nd most developed city in Ghana while Volta is amongst the 4 least developed regions yet Volta region has the highest voter loyalty always giving NDC more than 80%. While Ashanti gives NPP 70%. Mind you, NDC rarely wins on any Tertiary campus. Out of 72 campuses, NDC won in just 3. But if it is about illiteracy, you may want to go through this thread👇 Genuine😘🇬🇭

Erastus Asare Donkor.... This was taken about 40 minutes ago. This is a FRESH ILLEGAL INVASION OF THE TANO ANWIA FOREST RESERVE. These people are illegal miners with high profile backing. To be able to have access to such a reserve without a license is almost impossible unless you have powerful people in government. Mr President this is not what you promised Ghanaians!! Some of us fought this kind of impunity in the previous administration so a new government can save our forests. There are currently five groups like this in this beautiful forest ready to destroy it without any license. The NDC only hate Godfred Dame because he has exposed the incompetence of their attorney generals.l There is no doubt that Godfred Dame has been Ghana's best Attorney General. He has intervened many times to protect the public purse and saved Ghana over 10 trillion cedis in judgement debts. Of Ghana’s nearly GHS700 million judgement debt paid since 2000, NDC alone has paid more than GHS600 million. The NDC attorney generals could not prosecute a single NPP official, while Godfred Dame keeps prosecuting their corrupt people. Let's celebrate him for his diligence and hard work. Let's vote for Dr. Bawumia to ensure political continuity of such competent people in government... #ItIsPossible
