My boy Bangs. I’m heartbroken to share that my best mate passed away a couple of weeks ago. ✏️ 𝕃𝕌𝕂𝔼 and I met at uni in 2007, and instantly bonded over Premier League and European football. Within weeks of knowing each other he had me signed up to FPL and we soon formed our friendship group for life with the rest of our housemates, the Pentagon. Often bonded by FPL and mini league bragging rights. We’ve spoken most days and every week for the past 17 years and our small friendship group will never feel complete again. We always said we were more brothers than mates and our family bond was so special. 18 months ago Luke was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumour and through all his treatment he never once complained or burdened anyone with his fears. He’s the bravest, kindest person I know, and I will always be inspired by his journey. We raised nearly 200k for him when taking part in March To The Arch which gave us hope but it wasn’t to be. Luke, words cannot describe our upset as we celebrated your life yesterday, reminiscing about the good times, laughing and crying. As we carried you in to the crematorium I felt so proud to call you my friend. You were one of a kind and its been a privilege. He wasn’t one for video’s but I have endless clips of us goofing around at uni which I will forever hold close. A couple of more recent clips of how I remember my boy. To the next step my brother.
