SPEAKERS' CORNER Yesterday As usual, it was noisy. And if you wait to be allowed to say something, you'd most likely say nothing. So, it's is often like a shouting match. I no de carry last for shout sha. We met with non Christians of different shades. One thing stands out: most of them have a rigid set of assumptions about what they think Christianity is. Secondly, many people can't grasp logical concepts at a certain level. So, if you move up the conversation to that level, as it naturally should, these people become unable to engage you reasonably and just start responding with regurgitated answers to what they assume you are saying. It is a bit frustrating and slightly amusing at that level. Bottom line, though, the authentic rumour of Jesus, the gospel of God's grace can stand investigation and scrutiny, in the most hostile firmament. Saints, indeed, the search is over... we've got the answer. JESUS is the answer. Still send prayers. We have a few more days to go, and grounds to cover.
