This is the 787 Dreamliner plane that the Kansas City Chiefs are on and waiting to take off. This video was taken by Jeff Penner's son Skyler a few hours ago. It landed, the team boarded, but then the airport shut down. They apparently were able to take off! Any pictures of a plane where it is all white out there, is not the plane as it was freezing rain and not snow or sleet. The snowstorm will begin on Sunday.

Yesterday’s tornado just south of Clinton, MO is incredible to watch. Thank you to Amanda Johnson for sharing this security camera video hitting the south side of Clinton. Notice how it hits the barrels first, then almost immediately ramps up and begins tearing apart trees. So dangerous and in just a few seconds. #SevereWeather #Tornado #LRC

Well, I don’t remember going under? Thank you so much for your support! I’ll look at the data later today!- I got the results and great news, two small 5 mm polyps removed, and likely benign. Of course they will be tested. 27 years after surviving rare cancer, I don't take screenings lightly. I just took a 3-hour nap. Now, it's back to looking at the weather. There is an interesting system crossing the west coast Thursday morning that I will update you on later. #Colonoscopy #EarlyDetection #PreventiveCare

Gooooooood morning Chiefs fans! I LOVE KANSAS CITY! I just bumped into Terry Bradshaw and tried to say hi, right near the elevator, but his bodyguard says softly “stop” when all I said was “Terry”, and this was at 7 AM. Well. I would never ignore you if you said hi to me! Anyway….let’s channel that energy into getting louder than ever. These clouds, as you can see in the video, may help a bit in blocking some of that strong late summer sun. Let’s beat the Eagles! My prediction: Chiefs 30-27 over the Eagles to get us to 1-1! I’ll have my full review of the game later tonight. #ChiefsKingdom #NFL

It was 26-years-ago today, July 1, 1999, when I was on KSHB 41 for the first time. I had a six month no-compete clause and while I was off the air, Windy The Weather Dog was featured to promote my return to TV. Here are the four commercials that aired. Windy was quite famous already as she was on Oprah, the Animal Planet Channel, and she & I went to around 800 schools and public appearances including her final one at the age of 16 years old on the Pet Telethon in 2005. She was so independent and so unique. I hope you enjoy these four promo-commercials from 1999.
