#repost As a Brazilian and Latin American, I carry the memory of the struggles and the pain of the genocides that we cannot prevent. Sailing on Sumud Global Flotilla today I feel like we are finally being heard. We are over 50 boats and 500 people from over 40 countries, not just taking aid, but affirming that a people has a right to live and that the genocide needs to stop. Governments that have always ignored us are now forced to face the force of the world's peoples. This flotilla isn't just solidarity: it's geopolitics transformed by popular will.
