Singha Durbar Palace - the largest palace in all of Asia, which had 1700 rooms - was built in 1903. It housed government institutions as well as the office of the Prime Minister of Nepal. This is to make it clear what kind of beauty was destroyed by the lunatics who simply lost their minds. And this was done after the government had already repealed the law restricting social networks, which caused this riot. So there was no sense or reason to destroy the palace. But it was destroyed because the mob is aggressive towards everything beautiful and wants to destroy it.
