This is the reality of outsourcing in modern Britain. Our members cleaned Parliament for years. They turned up before dawn, did the job with pride and asked for nothing more than to keep working. The Churchill Group looked at loyal, experienced GMB members and saw money to save. The work has not gone anywhere. Parliament still needs cleaning. Some of the workers have been made disposable, treated as a cost to cut rather than the people who kept the place running. That is what outsourcing does.
