🚨ROY KEANE ON ARSENAL’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW 🗣️“Honestly, when I saw Arsenal’s Champions League draw, I laughed a little. Not because Arsenal are in trouble, but because people are making this draw look much more difficult than it actually is.” “Arsenal should be very happy with this. They have been given a very small team to play against, and if they are serious about winning the Champions League, this is exactly the kind of opponent they should be beating comfortably. There is no reason for Arsenal supporters to be worried.” “People will talk about the atmosphere, the pressure, the occasion and all these things, but football is football. Arsenal have better players, a better squad and, in my opinion, they should be controlling both matches from the first minute.” “If Arsenal are really as good as people say they are, they should not only qualify, they should qualify comfortably. This should be an easy run for them. No excuses, no drama, no late-night panic. Just go there, play football and show the difference in quality.” “And let me be honest, Arsenal should be looking at this draw and thinking about the next round already. Because if they are supposed to be one of the best teams in Europe and they are sitting at the top of the league table, then this is not the stage where they should be struggling against small teams.” “Arsenal have been waiting for their big European moment. Now they have been given a very good opportunity. The road is open. The opponent is small. The pressure should be minimal.” “So for me, Arsenal fans should not even be discussing whether Arsenal will qualify. The question should be how far they can go after this.” “And if Arsenal somehow make this difficult for themselves, then maybe we need to stop talking about the Champions League draw and start talking about Arsenal themselves.”

🚨 Ian Wright on Gabriel Martinelli leaving Arsenal for Al-Hilal: 🎙️ Reporter: “Ian, what do you make of Martinelli’s move to Al-Hilal?” 🗣️ Ian Wright: “I don’t think Arsenal have handled this very well. I really don’t. Martinelli has given a lot to this football club. He came here as a young kid, developed into an important player and gave Arsenal some incredible moments. You don’t just forget that because he’s no longer first choice. If he is leaving for Al-Hilal, then I hope it’s because it’s the right move for him, not because Arsenal have simply decided he’s surplus to requirements. I understand football is a business. I understand you have to improve the squad. But sometimes you have to look at what a player has actually contributed before you push him out the door. He’s scored goals, he’s played in big games, he’s helped this club win trophies. And now suddenly we’re saying, ‘Thank you very much, off you go’? That doesn’t sit right with me. And let’s be honest, Martinelli still has plenty of football in him. He’s 25 years old. He’s quick, he’s aggressive, he can stretch defenders and when he’s confident, he can be devastating. If Arsenal sell him to Al-Hilal and he starts scoring goals over there, people will suddenly start asking whether we made a mistake. I’ve seen this before. You let a good player go, he gets a fresh environment, starts playing regularly and suddenly everyone remembers why they liked him in the first place. For Martinelli, I hope he gets regular football, confidence and the freedom to play his game. But for Arsenal? I’m not completely convinced this is the right decision. Sometimes you improve a squad by signing new players. Sometimes you improve it by making sure you don’t throw away the good players you already have.”

🚨🎙️| Vinicius junior on the rumours linking him with Arsenal: 🗣️“I’ll be honest because I have nothing to hide. I told my agent to arrange a meeting with Arsenal, but not because I actually wanted to sign for them. Sometimes football is about strategy. If Real Madrid think another big club is seriously pushing for you, they’ll move faster and they’ll value you more. Arsenal were simply the perfect club to create that pressure. I knew the headlines would explode, the fans would get excited, and suddenly Madrid would realise they couldn’t waste time. Do I respect Arsenal? Of course. They’re a huge club. But my plan was never to wear that shirt. The rumours served their purpose, they got everyone’s attention. If everything goes the way I expect, Real Madrid will return with a much better contract. That’s football. Sometimes the biggest transfer move happens before anyone even signs.”

🚨 Arsenal legend Martin Keown on Arsenal signing Bruno Guimarães and Christos Tzolis instead of Morgan Rogers or Vinícius Júnior: 🎙️ Reporter: “Martin, Arsenal have signed Bruno Guimarães and Christos Tzolis, but many fans were hoping the club would land Morgan Rogers or even Vinícius Júnior. Do you think Arsenal missed out?” 🗣️ Martin Keown: “No, I don’t think so. Morgan Rogers and Vinícius Júnior are outstanding players, but you don’t build great teams by chasing every superstar on the market. You build them by bringing in players who suit the manager’s ideas, and I think Bruno Guimarães and Christos Tzolis do exactly that. “I spoke to Christos after he completed the move, and one thing he told me really stood out. He said, ‘Martin, I had other opportunities, but once I spoke with Mikel Arteta, I knew Arsenal was where I wanted to be. I believe in his vision, I believe in the football he wants us to play, and I believe this club is ready to achieve something special.’ That’s exactly the mentality you want from a player joining Arsenal. “People will always compare transfer windows, but football isn’t about who wins the headlines in the summer. It’s about who builds the best team by the end of the season. If Bruno Guimarães and Christos Tzolis perform the way Mikel Arteta believes they can, nobody will be talking about the players Arsenal didn’t sign.”
