Tuskegee head coach Benjy Taylor was handcuffed by police after the loss at Morehouse. Here’s his statement to The Field of 68: “I am at a loss for words and I am upset about how I was violated and treated today. For my players, my family and people of Tuskegee to witness that is heartbreaking for me. I was simply trying to get the football team out of the handshake line as they were following right behind me and the team yelling obscenities! It was a very dangerous situation.”

Benjy Taylor said that a group of football players from Morehead had been vocal all game from their seats next to the Tuskegee bench. He went to the end of the handshake line after the game and some of the football players were behind him the line. He tried to diffuse the situation, asked a police officer for help to remove the football players. The next thing he knew he was being handcuffed. He said that the handcuffs were removed quickly by the police when he left the court. Here’s some more video.
