Today I signed laws to rebalance Colorado’s budget after President Trump and Colorado House Republicans created a billion-dollar budget hole with H.R. 1. After signing the laws I sent Representatives Gabe Evans, Jeff Hurd, Lauren Boebert, and Jeff Crank pens that I used to sign the laws to fix the budget hole they created.

Colorado is all too familiar with the effects of climate change, seeing the three largest fires in our state's history and the most destructive in the last five years. Despite the EPA's denial of scientific reality, Colorado will continue to achieve our ambitious clean energy goals to save people more on energy bills, reduce emissions, and improve our air quality and health.
