All of us must be civil rights activists at this moment. Just like those who showed up, stood up, and spoke out today at National Action Network’s 2026 Convention. If we don’t have a fair election in November, we won’t have any more elections.

Donald Trump is looking out for his corporate donors while Americans pay more at the pump. That's why I'm urging Congress to make the sale of E15 permanent year-round to help lower prices for consumers and boost demand for corn grown by Illinois farmers.

Trump and the Republican Congress are costing Illinois over $8 billion. Money for your schools, roads, and hospitals is being used to fund ICE, tax cuts for the wealthy, and a golden ballroom. Here in Illinois, we're persevering to help working families and deliver real relief.

Our leaders in Washington could learn a thing or two from some of the best elementary school students here in Illinois.

Our eighth balanced budget accomplishes a whole lot, from AI safety regulations to new homeowner down payment insurance, but what's most important is: We're lowering costs. We're standing up for people's rights. We're making the investments that will drive this state forward.

Donald Trump is a liar. Whether it’s on the war in Iran being almost over or gas and diesel prices coming down, he can’t be trusted.

Chicago’s Far South Side is long overdue for its Red Line Extension. Even with Trump’s tampering, we finally broke ground last week and delivered on a promise thanks to the courts and Rebuild Illinois.
