The Russians are extracting white phosphorus from a 120mm D-5 mortar shell for use with incendiary drone munitions. After cutting the casing with a grinder, it is split open in a water bath because the phosphorus spontaneously ignites on contact with the oxygen in air. 1/

The latest Russian “hedgehog” tanks are shown here covered with unraveled heavy metal cable attached to a steel mesh. This thick and heavy system is not impregnable of course but it does significantly increase the number of Ukrainian FPVs required to destroy the tank.

The Russians claim they use a Mavic drone to lift a cell phone high enough to connect to a cellular network. Another phone on the ground makes a bridge to receive the signal. If 200 meters isn’t high enough, they apparently go to 400 m and place a second Mavic at 200 m.

Finnish world shotgun champion Kim Leppänen took on FPV drones simulating attacking him. He failed on the first straight-on attack, not prepared for the high speed of the FPV. He successfully adapted but he is the best shooter in the world, and you don’t get a redo in Ukraine. 1/

A Soviet underwater nuclear test (depth 10 meters) off Novaya Zemlya of the 3.5 kiloton RDS-9 fission warhead on a T-5 torpedo. 30 ships were positioned from 300 m to 1.5 km away. On board the ships were 500 goats and sheep, and 100 dogs. Only the closest ship, a destroyer, sank.
