Longtime #Braves pitcher Julio Teheran has retired after 13 years in the majors. He's 35 years old. He went 77-73 with a 3.67 ERA in 9 seasons for Atlanta. An All-Star in 2014 &amp; 2016, Teheran was the Opening Day starter every season from 2014-2019 (6x).

A few tosses from Angel Perdomo, a towering lefty at 6'8" and 265 lbs. He's now 17 months removed from Tommy John surgery and is an arm to watch in #Braves camp for the bullpen mix.

On this day in 1992: One of the greatest moments in #Postseason history. A little-known, 3rd string catcher's clutch hit sent the #Braves back to the World Series. Francisco Cabrera delivered and Sid Bream slid. Skip Caray's call was pitch perfect.

#Braves legend Dale Murphy tells a story about Bobby Cox as a rookie manager as the Braves faced the World Champion Yankees in Spring Training of 1978, the team Bobby worked for a year prior. Talk about winning the room, Bobby Cox did just that.

9/27/1968: #Yankees rookie and future Hall of Famer Bobby Cox hits a HR against the Red Sox at Fenway Park. It flew over the head of fellow HOF'er Carl Yastrzemski, whose grandson Mike now plays for the #Braves, the team Cox later managed for 25 years.

I absolutely hate the idea of this guy missing more time. On top of the talent and gifts that few in the game possess, he works extremely hard and plays with his heart on his sleeve. Ronald Acuña Jr. will find out more when he undergoes imaging.

Great to see Ian Anderson on the mound. It's an important spring for the righty after two seasons on the road back from Tommy John. He'll look to crack the #Braves rotation coming out of camp as he's out of options.

While I'm at it, this is my favorite Andruw Jones catch of all-time. Into the gap, to end the game, save a shutout, to the amazement of Tom Glavine and everyone else in attendance. Ask those HOF #Braves pitchers what Andruw Jones meant to their careers.
