New update for the netplay N64 emulator (RMG-K) adds rollback to every title. This means that input delay is greatly reduced and desyncs are far more uncommon. This morning we managed to play from Spain to Australia with 4 frames of delay! Before this we had to do 9!!!

"The Nintendo 64 has bad controls!" ... Does it actually? One of the most repeated "facts" about the N64 is how bad its games control, how weird the controller is, and how shooters must rely on auto-aim to even be playable. I think we can see here that's not really the case.

My Switch 2 arrived! Time to test the N64 emulator. First impressions: Zero improvement on controls. Despite being able to remap them with the latest update, the sticks are still oversensitive and makes aiming impossible. Can't manage to make the emulator slowdown, but...

Xenia Netplay recently released the 5.0 version and the stability improvements are amazing. We are able to play GoldenEye XBLA against players in Australia while I'm here in Spain with no desync or any input delay. The setup is also much simpler now, I'll have a tutorial soon!

Since Perfect Dark is trending and there's a lot of eyes on the classics (Both N64 and Zero) I think it'd be a great time for Rare Ltd. Xbox to fix the games. Perfect Dark Zero would benefit greatly from a 60FPS boost, and a fix for the music that has been broken since 2006!
