What you are looking at is a 2005 GMC Canyon that came in for an AC issue. Right away I found the Schrader valve leaking Freon. I evacuated the system to replace both high and low side Schrader valves and came to find out it was full of refrigerant at 0.73 kilograms, which is full to specifications. The last shop told the owner the system was junk and needed everything replaced: compressor, condenser, and all. Want to know what the problem was? They unplugged the compressor clutch and said the system was cooked. I plugged the compressor back in, replaced the Schrader valves, evacuated and refilled it. It blows ice cold, and the low side was running at 30 psi on a 90-degree day. There are some very shady motherfuckers in Vegas, that’s what I have to say about that.

I'm so sick of Chinese parts. This brand new mount from O'Reilly's is already shot to hell. Getting them in and out of the Nissan Rogue isn't fun either. It lasted about a month before the first complaint, and within a month they said it was getting worse. We need American-made parts built by people who take pride in workmanship.

These fords with the titan v8 are one of the harder platforms to replace spark plugs and unfortunately the fuel pump is difficult as well. I always win but thought I would share my disgust with ford products.
