The amnesia is a feature, not a bug. The moment the latest impossible thing lands, the linear minds scramble to memory-hole the pattern. They forget who the fuck they’re dealing with. Donald Trump is not a deal maker in the polite, negotiable sense. He is the best alive. The one who sees the board twenty moves deep while the rest are still arguing over the opening square. Barbara Corcoran...the Shark Tank investor who fought him in the trenches of New York real estate, who once sued him and still had to tell the truth on record...said it plainly: “He is the best salesman I’ve ever met in my life.” Not the cleanest. Not the most conventional. The best. Because he doesn’t sell the thing on the table. He reads the fracture lines in your psychology, the exact vulnerability you didn’t know you were broadcasting, and pivots the entire deal around it. They came for the Plaza Hotel. He sold them the Hudson River towers instead. They walked away owning a future they hadn’t even imagined. That isn’t sales. That’s predation at the level of cognitive architecture. He doesn’t play the game the critics understand. He ends it...on terms they didn’t know existed until the ink dries. The underestimators reveal only their own terminal linearity, their desperate need for a predictable enemy. Trump gives them none of that comfort. He gives them the void where their assumptions used to live. Especially now. When the noise machine is screaming and every midwit with a platform thinks this time they’ve finally figured him out… remember the clip. Remember the woman who battled him and still had to nod at the mastery. He doesn’t win deals. He closes what the rest of the world hasn’t even seen coming yet. And the louder they doubt, the more inevitable the next one becomes.
