10 months ago, I stood in front of the Florida Gators football team. What most people didn’t know was that after I left that room, I went back to work at Walmart. At the time, I was in what I now call my silent season. No big announcements, no packed speaking calendar, and no spotlight. Instead, I showed up every day, trusting God, staying faithful, and preparing for whatever He had next. For eight months, I worked, learned, grew, and kept saying yes to the opportunities God placed in front of me. It wasn’t the season I would have chosen, but it was the season I needed. Looking back now, I realize God was doing His greatest work when it seemed like the least was happening. This year has been filled with opportunities I once prayed for; doors have opened, stages have appeared, relationships have been built, and I am reminded that success is often born in seasons of silence. Never despise small beginnings, because small beginnings lead to big endings.

As I walk through yet another round of surgery on my amputated leg, I’m reminded that my journey has never been mine alone. God has carried me through every valley, every setback, and every uphill climb.
