Well, Mitch McConnell was apparently supposed to make an appearance at the big Republican convention in Dallas… Then the video feed started glitching, the audio turned into robot soup, and right when you could finally make out “Mitch McConnell” the whole damn screen went black. Technical difficulties really said, “That’s enough, Mitch.” Probably the shortest speech of the convention.😂

I don’t know how President Trump does it. The man is 80 years old and keeps a schedule that would absolutely smoke most people half his age. Meetings, calls, flights, negotiations, reporters, one problem after another. I’d bet he’s working before most of us even find the damn coffee pot. You can criticize Trump for plenty, but lazy sure as hell ain’t one of them.

Whatever people think of them, I respect the fight, the grit, and the belief that America is worth defending. That’s what matters to me. Stand your ground. Back your country. One male juror held out against 11 for almost 40 hours over 7 days. The herd wanted a conviction. He did his job and said no. Then Kevin Reddington walked outside the courthouse and put a target on that man’s back. Jonathan Turley called it. James Galliano said it was so out of line the judge could censure him. “I hope he can sleep well at night” isn’t lawyering. It’s thuggish. A trial exists so we don’t settle murder with a rage mob.
