Iâve been friends with naki ðâ³ïž (hiatus) for quite some time now. As many of you may know, Naki has been fighting cancerâand through it all, he continues to hold on to hope⊠believing that miracles can still happen. I commissioned this Aki-chan artwork from him during a time when his health was already declining. Sadly, he had to be hospitalized before he could finish it. But to me⊠this piece is still incredibly beautifulâjust like the heart he poured into it. I kept thinking about how I could support him in some way. Then I looked at this artwork again and thought, âMaybe⊠this could mean something more.â So, in honor of Aki-chanâand to show my support for NakiâI turned this piece into a tattoo.
