#PIA 🇪🇷 The reason we had to struggle for more than 50 years is that the Cold War produced a global political order shaped by the experiences of the World Wars. It was an order based not on justice, but on power, control, and the glorification of force. A world free from injustice and exploitation is not only Eritrea’s goal , it is the shared aspiration of all peoples across the globe. People want to live in peace, manage their own resources, and work together in partnership and equality. This is not the will of one nation alone; it is the will of humanity. The ideologies that dominated during the Cold War stood in direct opposition to this vision. They emerged in two opposing forms. One was defined by violence, chaos, and the disregard for international law. The other reflected the growing desire of people for strategic cooperation, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence. The path we have chosen, and the ideas we stand for, are rooted in the collective will of the people.
