you know what? we should've expected this the duffers said that the finale, the ending was going to be unexpected and wasn't going to make everyone happy, vol 2 was obviously a shitcake and a nothingburguer but i think they did this for a reason, even if it was awful writing

i wish they made the importance of her this clear in earlier seasons too. if she asked the party to call her jane after 2x07 when she met her family outside of hawkins and found out she had a name, that she was a normal girl too. she never felt comfortable with being 011.
