#Belarus Natallia Dulina, a recently released political prisoner and university lecturer, recounted how she was taken to the KGB prison in Minsk yesterday morning without explanation. There, the prison’s deputy head asked if she would admit guilt. When she refused, he told her she would be executed - “на расстрел.” Natallia says this is the kind of “joke” they make. During the transfer, a black bag was placed over her head. It is a stark reminder of the regime’s complete disregard for human dignity.

Ihar Losik said that before his release, security forces took away his & others passports. "I was in Navapolatsk, in the punishment cell. They poured bleach on the floor. I slept on a bare plank. I did not expect the release." He said he is not fully happy without his family.
