God’s Hate went on an abrupt hiatus 13 months ago, and returned this week with “Won’t Be Disgraced” — a dense new 12” EP dedicated to friend of the band and HardLore’s late co-host, Bo Lueders. Today we sit down with Anna Zanes, recent former editor in chief of Alternative Press, to deep dive into all things GOD’S HATE with vocalist Big Bad Brody King, producer/guitarist Taylor Young and myself for the very first time. Full episode out now.

For Bo, Forever… Today’s new episode is the most important thing we’ll ever make. This past January, Bo & I interviewed each other intimately about our respective upbringings, families, friends, and the result is a raw, personal, and cathartic nearly 3 hour conversation. It didn’t feel right to post at the time, but in this new light, I feel it is the greatest gift imaginable. This is the first of our 3 final projects with our best friend Bo. We loved making them, and I hope you enjoy them all. Thank you for the love & support, and for being so kind to Bo. I love you buddy bo.

The time has come… Tomorrow on HardLore, Bo’s final episode: HardLore investigates the JFK assassination. We visited Dealey Plaza in Dallas, TX just last month for THE most Bo thing we’ve ever made… A thorough tour of this historic landmark where president John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22nd, 1963. This episode has nothing to do with hardcore music, or really music at all, but hardcore music brought us together to share our passions with the world and I’m so grateful that we got to capture this one for him as the perfect final sendoff.

A few weeks ago, we had the unique privilege of traveling to Nashville to get an inside look with drain831 as they prepped for their “...Is Your Friend” U.S. tour with No Pressure, Haywire and Secret World, via our friends at Monster Energy. We spent several days with the band & their crew made up entirely of hardcore musicians from bands like Rotting Out, Cosmic Joke, One Step Closer and more to give you all an inside look at their gear & production. We hope you enjoy this unique episode that was a first and last for us as a duo, where Bo’s passion unique knowledge and passion for gear was on full display. For Bo, Forever.
