ਸੂਬੇ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਾਹਤ। CM ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਨੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਨਮਾਨੀ 'ਤੇ ਰੋਕ ਲਈ ਆਰਡੀਨੈਂਸ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ 5% ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਫ਼ੀਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਧਾ ਸਕੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ 36 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ 5% ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਫ਼ੀਸ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਕਦਮ ਹੈ।

ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸ. ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲਾਂ, ਨਗਰ ਪੰਚਾਇਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੀਨਾਵਾਰ ਤਨਖ਼ਾਹ 10,500 ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ 20,500 ਰੁਪਏ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਸੇਵਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਅਣਥੱਕ ਯੋਧੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼-ਸੁਥਰਾ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਸਫਾਈ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ, ਸਨਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਹੈ।

More than the bridges, more than the canal water reaching fields, more than any other development work — the biggest achievement for me in my constituency is this: for the first time ever, 5 students from our government schools have cleared JEE Mains and 8 have cleared NEET this year, from the Anandpur Sahib/Nangal region. These children come from ordinary families in our villages. I will personally take responsibility for all their educational expenses.
