Yesterday, we made the decision that Daisy’s old bones will no longer be able to take two long walks on the beach, her heart yes, but her age is really now starting to show, so it’s one a day now.. That lasted all of five minutes.. Leave no man behind….👇 Daisy weighs about 5kgs, after only a kilometre or so, it felt like 50 kilograms… The things we do for love.. 🥹💜

And surprise, surprise, it’s all kicked off, it was only a matter of time.. Ten minutes ago, another knock at the cottage door, our cottage door to be precise, a car full of young lads, with… a Leo in the back, “We have just found a red dog in a village near to here” Me “thank you, thank you so much” Message to Farmer who is away on holiday, “Leo is with me after being returned again, Leo has used up another of his lucky life’s.” “can you take him home” Me “No, he is with me now” And here he stays…for now. This will not end well.. 😌🥴

I couldn’t sleep last night, it’s difficult to sleep with a mindful of memories and a broken heart… 💔 In the early hours of light, I set out with Hope & Gracie-Rose, this walk along the shoreline was in memory of Tia.. We walked, and walked and walked until my legs said ‘enough is enough’… For Tia..💜

I now strongly suspect, Hope has found her peace and happiness in this world. It would be dishonest of me to imply this journey has been an easy path, but Mrs H, nor myself have ever looked back, nor regretted one single minute, unconditional love is exactly that, unconditional, no regrets, no questions asked.. 👍❤️

I’m at Landrover main dealers today, Mrs H’s motor is in for a service & full ‘re-coding’ (whatever that is) I will be sitting here drinking the free coffee and eating the free biscuits for hours. Still, this beauty has already broke the morning up, and bought a huge smile to my face…. 😁👍👇

I had one job, sharpen the chainsaw over the workshop, how hard can it be! As it turned out, very hard, enter….Leo. 🥴 Leo was shut in the workshop tea-room, I could feel his eyes burning into my soul…the guilt, oh the guilt…. 🥹🙄 What normally takes me twenty minutes, took over an hour. 😳👇
