Chelsea Gray on her role as the Las Vegas Aces’ player rep during CBA negotiations. She explained that part of her responsibility is sitting in smaller union calls, gathering key messaging, bringing it back to her teammates for feedback, and then relaying the team’s stance to the executive committee. She also fields questions from teammates who may not feel comfortable reaching out directly—serving as a bridge between the Aces locker room and the committee. Chelsea also said players were overwhelmingly willing to prepare for a strike if negotiations require it, adding that she personally would be okay taking that step if it comes down to it.
