Just casually creating custom designs for Miss #BlueIvy 💫 I’ve only gone & done it…I have finally designed costumes for #Beyonce’s #CowboyCarterTour. I had to keep this project top secret, but I can finally talk about this surreal & magical moment! BLUE IVY CARTER wearing Elevensixteen, with fashion illustration & design direction by me. Blue absolutely ate her solo performance of ‘Deja Vu’ up! She wore a bespoke leather matching set, adorned with hand carved Benin bronzes & cowrie shells. I had the pleasure of collaborating with the amazing Chief Ugo Mozie, who is a visionary, + Beyoncé’s legendary OG stylist, TY HUNTER. The entire team involved did a phenomenal job bringing the looks to life & executing the design so beautifully. If you’ve been a longtime follower & supporter of mine, you will know just how long I’ve been manifesting this moment. From drawing #DestinysChild as a kid, to Beyoncé endorsing my work over a decade ago, & now, seeing my custom design work come to life on her stage for this epic tour, is beyond my wildest dreams! This is going to take some time to fully sink in...a very proud moment indeed! From sharing my illustration design ideas on social media, to seeing them come to life on a world tour is truly an honour! Thank you Beyoncé for trusting us to create something special for your Daughter. Thank you Ugo for being such a pleasure to work with. You & your team are incredible! Thank you to Tyrone for always championing my work & showing it to Beyoncé over a decade ago. A full circle moment! When your fashion illustration comes to life on #RuPaulsDragRace!! 🐈⬛ 🖤 Had to keep this one quiet for some time, but the episode aired last night & WOW!! What an honour for my design to be referenced on #DragRace by the fabulous Jewels Sparkles . You looked absolutely stunning & I appreciate you paying homage to my work so beautifully!! Thank you!! The design was constructed by the talented Jeffrey Kelly Abess. Such a genius touch to hand paint the garment. It definitely gave sketch come to life!! Then, to have #RuPaul herself praise the look, saying it elevated Jewels + all the judges living for it too?! Iconic! Sam Smith said the look is “fucking incredible” and Ross Mathews said it should be in the Smithsonian. Icing on the cake!!! Knocked it out of the park!!! Here is part 2 of my fabulous conversation with the legendary #MerylStreep & #AnneHathaway for #TheDevilWearsPrada2 press junket in London 👠 We talked further about fashion illustration & how it can be celebrated more by the industry. Anne & Meryl were so excited when I gifted them both prints of my work & signed copies of my Fashion Activity Book. They were flipping through the pages & absolutely loving it!!! Red, White & #BlueIvy!! 💙 For last nights final #CowboyCarterTour show in Las Vegas, to complete the trilogy of costumes for #BlueIvyCarter, she wore a blue version of her signature #DejaBlue performance look, right after the legendary #DestinysChild introduced her to the stage. Design direction & illustrations by me in collaboration with #ElevenSixteen. What an honour to design for the next generation & be part of such a historic & record breaking tour! Thank you TY HUNTER for this incredible opportunity & amazing styling, & thank you to #UgoMozie for creative direction & such a beautiful collaborative experience, with both of our brands joining forces to create magic. It’s been incredible to collaborate with such a talented team of individuals & these designs couldn’t have come to life without everyone’s hard work. How it started & how it’s going 💫 I have to reshare this video of me as a child, doing what I love & speaking with so much conviction & passion. Little did I know that I’d go on to do this exact thing as my full time career, but on a much larger scale…sketching up my own designs that are being worn by superstars & working with major brands. It’s pretty surreal to look back on with all that I’ve achieved now. It goes to show how our destiny is already written & can show itself from childhood. When I was at primary & secondary school, being a boy that loved drawing, collecting fashion dolls & was seen as more feminine compared to other boys, I became an easy target & was bullied quite harshly for just being myself. I sometimes still experience similar situations today as an adult, just going about my daily business. Even though I couldn’t wait for my school years to be over so I could focus on my true purpose, I never conformed to fit in. I stayed true to myself & was thankful to have supportive family that encouraged my talent & creative interests from very early on. The things that made me stand out & that I was bullied for back then, are what ultimately got me to where I am today…a self-made, fashion success story! I say all of this to encourage any young boy out there who can relate, who feels different, or that may not have the support system from their family, to never change who you are or let anyone stifle your self expression, passion & creativity. Go after all your dreams, even if you don’t have support. YOU can make it happen for yourself! I believe in you. If I can do it, so can you 🤗🩵

I’m so happy to see that the #Aaliyah doll has been such a huge success. She’s selling out everywhere!! To see it come to fruition was so special, but to also have involvement creatively & getting to collaborate with her brother Rashad was such a beautiful blessing. I’m hoping that they will reissue her so that more fans can get her + potentially want to do another release of her wearing a different outfit 🖤

Round 2 of the #CowboyCarterTour We’ve seen the maroon & gold costume, but last night in Paris, #BlueIvy debuted a new white & gold version of the design worn for her #DejaVu solo performance 🤍💫 Design direction and illustrations by me. A collaboration with #ElevenSixteen Chief Ugo Mozie and styled by TY HUNTER. Thank you Ty for believing in the vision. What an amazing team to work with! Thank you to the entire global team of talented people that all came together to bring these intricate designs to life!! Collaboration is truly such a wonderful thing. I have yet to fully process all of this, and what is yet to come.
