I recorded this on a bike somewhere in Ondo State yesterday, and it really gave me an insight into why crimes like kidnapping can thrive in certain areas. As far as the eyes could see, there were vast stretches of land with little or no human presence. It made me realize just how much of Nigeria remains largely unoccupied compared to the areas where people are concentrated. At the same time, Lagos is bursting at the seams with people, traffic, and development, while many other states have huge expanses of land and relatively small populations. It got me thinking: is part of our security challenge linked to how unevenly our population and development are distributed? With so much land lying idle across the country, what can the government realistically do to make these areas safer, more productive, and more attractive for people and businesses? I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts Meanwhile, the bike trip took 20 km of riding for ₦5,000 as there was no public vehicle going that way.

A very heartbreaking incident happened in Zuluk, Burkina Faso, where a young boy was reportedly attacked and been eaten by a wild crocodile. Community hunters later unalive the crocodile. After news broke this morning that a certain 22-year old Destiny Boy had died, I began to do research on who the person was as I have never heard of the name until the news broke. I have read various narratives as regards what killed him and I have also seen a few videos of him including the one uploaded by his people showing him lying still with cotton wool in his mouth and ears. Two of the narratives are that he died at a herbalist house and also vomited blood before he died. I also came across this particular video showing him receiving an unknown/undisclosed substance directly from a man who appeared to be a herbalist judging by his mode of dressing and how his room looked. I also saw another video showing him being initiated into a traditional cult. From all indications, Destiny Boy apparently lives a fast life beyond his destiny. This could be as a result of the impatience of youth to make money and fame by all means. May God rest his soul and comfort the family he left behind.

A Nigerian woman living in Italy Oluwabunmi Adunniade, has called out Access Bank Plc for not being able to explain how ₦5,000,000 disappeared from her account. She claimed that she did not have access to the account prior to the illegal withdrawal except her Account Officer and the said officer could not explain how the money was moved and also claimed that the bank is not responding to her complaints. This is a truly heartbreaking 💔 video of a partially blind father struggling to survive with his children after life dealt him a devastating blow. Three years ago, his wife left him and their family to marry another man, leaving him to shoulder the burden of raising the children alone despite his visual impairment and extreme financial hardship. Today, he lives in abject poverty, doing his best to care for his children while battling a condition that continues to affect his sight. I may not have the reach to make a significant difference, but I believe someone on this timeline does. In this video, Omoga Ent. mistakenly pranked a soldier, not knowing there was another soldier nearby. What started as a prank quickly turned into a serious situation as the two military men descended on him and gave him the beating of his life. According to the video, it took the intervention of people around to rescue him. The soldiers had reportedly already bundled him into a tricycle and were on their way to their base before the crowd stepped in. What caught my attention most, however, was a woman who claimed to be his fan. While many people watched from a distance, she stood by him and kept pleading with the soldiers even when they showed no sign of backing down. In the end, her persistence appeared to contribute to his release. At first, I honestly thought the whole thing was a scripted prank involving Omoga and the soldiers.
