Pontic Greeks dancing the Pyrrhichios (Pyrrhic dance) inside the Hagia Sophia Stadium in Athens. Under Tourkokratia Pontic Greeks were isolated from the rest of Greeks. They somehow kept Ancient dances alive, which the rest of the Greek world forgot. This is the very same dance Achilles danced around the funeral pyre of Patroclus. Black Sea Greeks venerated Achilles the most, so it is natural they kept it to this day. In every Pontic Greek the soul of Achilles is living on!
