A few of months ago, we said goodbye to the wonderful BALLYADAM after 5+ years at Knockeen. 33 runs, 5 top 5 Cheltenham Festival finishes, a Grade 1, a win on the flat aged 11, and more importantly a pleasure to train and an absolute gentleman of a horse! Thank you Ballyadam❤️

A bittersweet moment this morning as Bob left to go home. He will be missed by everyone at Knockeen - particularly Davy and Jason - but we are delighted that he’s finished his career so happy and healthy, and he’s going to be even happier getting very fat and being very spoilt!

Not everyone is destined to be a racehorse, but luckily TBs are so versatile and willing to learn, which it makes it very easy for us to find them a 2nd career. This lovely lady retired unraced in June, but has really found her feet in her forever home (learning to play polo).

Quilixios’ New Year’s resolution must have been to do more sea swims…and there aren’t many places better for it than Waterford! (He’s still looking for the sauna though)

We wish Captain Guinness the best of luck as he sets off to start his 2nd career and a very pampered retirement. He’s been a firm yard favourite, and gave us an unforgettable day winning The 2024 Champion Chase - a race he ran in 4 times, finishing 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st.
