Dropping this here on twitter as well since i think it's important to spread awareness. Listen, i wasnt going to make a video on this topic at all, but in the recent months this has become an actual problem and I AM SO TIRED of seeing comments like these. I've had days where michelle was so frustrated reading these comments every single day, comparing her to other girl content creators or just calling her quite disgusting things. And all i can do is sit there and tell her "these guys are trolls" or just "ignore them" but there's only so much ignoring you can do. This isnt just a problem for michelle, but for literally every girl content creator out there in the gd scene (at least this problem is pretty big on tiktok, but it exists here on yt aswell) And if you're reading this comment and you think to yourself "this isnt that big of a deal" or "this isnt a problem" then that is part of the problem. If we keep ignoring this or brushing it off, this will keep happening. We have so few women in the gd community, and if we keep treating them this way, more will leave, and fewer will join. And it sucks that i am one of the first people in the gd community to speak up about this but without naming any names, ive heard many many bad things from these girl content creators and i dont blame them for wanting to private their account or quit gd all together.
