D4vd: I had honor of going to their (Skz) show at Sofi Stadium and i got to meet him (Hyunjin) there and i was like "yo we have to make a song". He was like "let's make the song". In lieu of this it is inevitable that copycats would arise especially in a trend chasing industry such as kpop and most especially with a trendy idol like Hyunjin. Consequently, we as fans tend to ignore such cases. What is not tenable is, an idol, especially from Hybe (a company who fed negative press about Hyunjin as revealed in their internal documents) marketed as "Hyunjin's Doppelganger" immediately he debuted, co-opting every single one of Hyunjin's identity markers while his company steals fanart made by Hyunjin's fans as a token of their love for him. And after all of these, fans of that artist go around insulting and defaming the blueprint of the personality that drew them to their artist in the first place. It's frankly disgusting that they are trying to shut fans up by attacking Hyunjin in order to enable a million dollar company plagariaze a small creator without backlash. We won't stand for it. We encourage everyone to continue to call out Hybe for their blatant theft.
