Senator Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) joined Hugh today to talk about his runoff race in Texas. Cornyn won round one but has to close the deal in the runoff in May. The hard truth is he that Senator Cronyn beats the Democrat Talarico easily in November but Talarico can beat Ken Paxton. Texas Republicans can put the Senate majority at risk if they vote Paxton. Hopefully the GOP turns out in great numbers and renominates John Cornyn.

Hugh was joined by National Review’s Noah Rothman to discuss the Kristof debacle, the explosion of anti-Semitism and whether or not the United States Supreme Court ought to start re-examining precedents like New York Times v Sullivan and the long standing legal architecture surrounding the First Amendment that makes it easy to slander and libel and extremely difficult to be made whole when the victim of such malicious behavior.
