Another Made in Assam product, another W for our dairy farmers! Launched operations at the 20,000 LPD Milk Processing plant in Sonitpur, which is another step towards our 10 lakh lts milk production target. The best part? The entire milk will come from our local dairy farmers, who are part of Dairy Cooperative societies. This will boost their income, give them an assured market and support a lot of allied activities in the the North Bank of Brahmaputra. We are supporting the dairy sector through a host of initiatives 1⃣Direct milk subsidy 2⃣Digital Registration of Milk Cooperative Societies 3⃣Supporting youth and women with schemes such as #CMAAA and #MMUA to take up dairy farming and allied activities
