News coming in from South 24 Parganas district of #WestBengal. Yesterday night, some Islamists teased and taunted Hindu women and girls in #Santoshpur under the #Maheshtala Assembly Constituency. Hindus there caught those Islamists and beat them. Within 30 minutes, hundreds of Islamist came and attacked shops owned by Hindus. At least 10 shops were vandalised. A massive police force reached the area and controlled the situation. As of now, the Police arrested 5 Islamists.

Yesterday, while the officials of the land department were surveying the #Tinbigha Corridor area for the border fencing, BGB tried to stop the survey work. BSF took positions. BGB fled. No escalation happened. The area comes under the #Mekhliganj block of the Coochbehar district of West Bengal.

A shocking case of hatred towards the Hindu minority community has come from #Bangladesh. A Hindu mother admitted her ill child in Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and Hospital in #Barishal district. But, the Muslim doctors didn't care about the child and the child died, the mother alleged. The child was not given necessary medicines, the mother also alleged. When, the mother and relatives protested, the Muslim doctors of the hospital beat them. The Muslim doctors confined the dead child, the mother and the relatives. At last the Police reached and the mother was able to see her dead child. Sources said, in the last few months, ill Hindu children are not returning home alive from this hospital.

Anti-Hindu Pogrom is going on in #Bangladesh. News coming in from #Gaibandha district. Islamists abducted a minor Hindu girl when she was returning home from school. Her father already filed a complaint in the Police Station. But, the Police couldn't recover her as of now. Her father Nitai Das said, “Shimul Miyan and others abducted my minor daughter. They converted her into Islam. The Police couldn't recover her. I want justice.” The abduction and forced conversion of Hindu girls is very common in Bangladesh. In most cases, law enforcement agencies don't care about the complaint. That's why these incidents are increasing.

The girl and her father were going to a relative's house. On their way, Islamists abducted them. Islamists then tied the father and gang-raped the girl. Later, locals recovered them and informed the Police.

News coming in from #Jalpaiguri district of #WestBengal. Yesterday, the Court gave a life sentence to two Islamists for Gang-rape of a 13 years old minor Hindu girl. The names of the Islamists are Sapirul Haque and Jahirul Miyan. On 24.04.2021, the victim minor Hindu girl went to attend a marriage ceremony of a relative with her family. Suddenly she went missing. At night, she was recovered in unconscious condition. After primary treatment, the minor Hindu girl said that 3 youths dragged her inside a house in the village. There, she was tortured and gang-raped. The Police officials of the #Moynaguri Police Station started an investigation and arrested two youths and a minor boy. The girl identified them. During the investigation, shocking details emerged. Two Islamists came to the marriage ceremony as a worker of the Catering Agency. Other Islamist decorated the pandal. The Court sentenced two Islamists life sentences while other Islamist is minor. So, his case is under the Juvenile Court.

Christian Missionaries are aggressively trying to convert Hindus in #WestBengal. Christian Missionaries are mainly targeting poor Hindus of remote areas. Today, members of the ‘Hindu Jagaran Mancha’ stopped a conversion program in #Bali island of #Gosaba Block of South 24 Parganas district. The island is far from the mainland and Hindus are the marginalized community there. West Bengal must pass a law and should criminalise conversion activities of the Christian Missionaries.

News coming in from North 24 Parganas district of #WestBengal. In several areas of the #Amdanga Assembly Constituency, Hindus have been attacked by the Islamic Jihadis. Houses are vandalised. Women are beaten and threatened to be raped. Many Hindu youths fled from the area as they were threatened to be murdered. The attacks on the Hindus started after the win of TMC candidate Kashem Siddiqui. A member of the National SC Commission visited the area and talked to the affected Hindu families.
