WNC is hurting, FEMA is packing up, and I’m mad. I’ve been on calls all day with people who have slipped through the cracks. I wish I could blame somebody, but the truth is our infrastructure is not set up to handle disasters of this magnitude. I wish we could blame one person or even one organization, but the truth is the entire system has failed us. The good news, humanity, in my eyes, is stronger than I ever could’ve imagined.

Operation Shelter worked all day and into the night delivering RVs loaded with food and supplies to the people of #WNC. It got down below freezing as we dropped off the last camper tonight. I have never received so many hugs in my life ❤️ Families are sleeping warm 🥰😍😘
