She pretended for 7 months just to catch him.. Taking Lives (2004) follows an FBI profiler hunting a killer who doesn’t just murder people, he steals their identities and lives. The twist comes when Martin Asher tracks down Agent Illeana Scott, believing she’s pregnant with his twins and completely broken. But when he attacks her, she fights back and kills him, then reveals the pregnancy was fake. She had spent seven months using herself as bait to lure him into a trap. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, the film reminds you, with a killer who can become anyone. Who can you really trust?
