🚨 BREAKING: The Epic Five Nations Railway Corridor – From China's Kashi to Afghanistan's Herat, A Game-Changer for Global Trade and Peace! Imagine a blazing-fast rail lifeline slicing through majestic mountains and ancient Silk Road paths, linking five powerhouse nations, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Iran! Starting in the bustling hub of Kashi (Kashgar) in China and powering through to Herat in Afghanistan (with extensions to Iran's key ports like Chabahar and Bandar Abbas), this 2,100 km mega-project is set to revolutionize connectivity across Eurasia. Proposed back in 2014, but turbocharged in 2025! Just today, Iranian firms kicked off construction on the critical 657 km Herat-Mazar-e-Sharif stretch in Afghanistan, a pivotal Afghan segment, thanks to a fresh trilateral pact between Afghanistan, Iran, and Turkey. Full Afghan section (1,148 km) could wrap in 1-3 years, with the entire corridor eyeing completion soon after, building on ongoing feasibility studies and partial builds like the Khaf-Herat link (inaugurated in 2020). Cost That's Worth Every Penny, pegged at around $2 BILLION total, with recent Iran-Turkey deals injecting $1.6 billion for linked Eurasian rails. This isn't just infrastructure, it's an investment in the future, funded by heavy-hitters like China’s Belt and Road Initiative, the Asian Development Bank, and regional partners. Benefits That'll Blow Your Mind, slash transit times by up to 40% compared to sluggish sea routes, turning weeks into days for Asia-Europe trade. Afghanistan becomes a transit superstar, raking in jobs, economic growth, and billions in trade volume. Iran positions as a revenue-generating hub with potential $500 million annual fees, while landlocked nations like Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan get direct port access. Boost regional commerce, create thousands of jobs, and unlock investment in spurs and spin-offs, this is the rebirth of land corridors as trade's unbreakable backbone! Why it's a Beacon for Peace and Security, In a world of tensions, this corridor isn't just tracks, it's a bridge to stability! By weaving economic ties across borders, it reduces Afghanistan's isolation, fosters unbreakable cooperation amid BRICS expansions, and curbs conflicts through shared prosperity. Enhanced connectivity means less volatility, more dialogue, and a safer region where trade trumps turmoil. As geopolitical shifts heat up, this rail unites nations, promoting lasting peace via interdependence and growth. The Silk Road is roaring back, who's ready to ride this wave of progress? #FiveNationsRailway #SilkRoadRevival #PeaceThroughTrade CHINA MFA Spokesperson 中国外交部发言人, MFA Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬, MFA Tajikistan, MFA Tajikistan, Foreign Ministry, Islamic Republic of Iran

🌟 A Pleasant Surprise: Kabul’s Roads in 2025! 🛣️ A friend of mine drove through Kabul today and honestly he couldn’t believe his eyes. The main roads (from Darulaman all the way to Wazir Akbar Khan, Massoud Circle, and even toward the airport) are in remarkably good condition! Fresh asphalt, clear lane markings, and almost no potholes. For anyone who remembers the chaos of previous years, this feels like a different city. What impressed him even more than the roads themselves was the traffic discipline. People are actually stopping at red lights! 🚦 Drivers wait patiently for green, motorbikes stay in their lanes, and almost everyone respects the zebra crossings. Roundabouts flow smoothly because drivers signal and yield properly. He saw traffic police at key intersections, but they barely had to intervene; people are following the rules on their own. Road signs are new, reflective, and placed exactly where they should be. Speed limit signs, no-U-turn signs, directional boards; everything is clear and consistent. It’s not perfect? No, of course not. Some side streets still need work, and rush hour can still get crowded. But the transformation on the major arteries is undeniable. You can actually plan your trip and arrive close to your estimated time. That used to be unthinkable. Hats off to the municipal teams who repaired and repaved these roads, and a bigger salute to the citizens of Kabul who decided to make the traffic rules actually mean something. When infrastructure and civic responsibility come together like this, the whole city feels safer and more dignified. Kabul jan, you’re looking good these days! ❤️ #Kabul #Afghanistan #TrafficDiscipline #CityProgress
