Our improved Report Tax Fraud service on lets you shop businesses you suspect are involved in fraud, money laundering or other criminal activity – helping you join the fight against rule-breaking retailers. We’re cracking down on dodgy high street traders across the UK.📍 We recently made unannounced visits to shops across Greater Manchester. Our officers seized more than 1,000 litres of of illicit alcohol in visits to shops in Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Stockport and Wigan. HMRC will use the intelligence gathered in its investigations to inform future action to tackle illegal activity on the high street. Our message is clear - the days of criminals hiding behind shop fronts are over. ❌ Greater Manchester Police

We’re taking action against those who commit till fraud to avoid paying what they owe. 💰 On recent unannounced visits in London, we downloaded data from dodgy high street trader tills and card readers to check if they were engaging in Electronic Sales Suppression.
