The second that makes Miley’s Heart of Glass cover is not the first chorus. It is the last one. She has already sung “heart of glass” straight. Then she swaps it for “pain in the ass” and rips it with that dirty rasp. Blondie’s original is sleek disco. Cool. Glassy. A little untouchable.
