Nolan Arenado. All winter, we wondered if he’d end up in a Red Sox uniform or maybe a Dodger uniform …. well, here he is, 1st day of official camp, in a Cardinals uniform.

How does the best get better? STL HS hoops star Scottie Adkinson works out daily at 6:45 a.m. w/his Webster Groves teammates. Scottie won the state title last yr as a sophomore, won Missouri Gatorade POY &amp; committed to Mizzou. I hung out w him 1 morning:

Today at the Mathews-Dickey Club in North St. Louis, they brought in kids to celebrate the new court, donated by Jayson Tatum &amp; NBA 2K. And watch this kid’s face as Tatum himself actually shows up to meet the kids:

My favorite sports movie of all-time is Hoosiers. I visited the site of the Hickory High gym used in the film (not Hinkle, but where Hickory played its regular-season games) in Knightstown, IN. Here’s a quick video of my experience. I didn’t get caught watchin’ the paint dry.

11-year-old Liya, who is battling an aggressive cancer, had her wish come true. Liya’s backyard was turned into a soccer field and St Louis CITY SC and Make-A-Wish America threw her a soccer celebration!! Here’s my video:
