The bug was seemingly written by Coinkite's Co-founder and CTO, Peter Gray DocHex Well after the attack was in full swing, he first reposted nunchuck, where it became clear that Mk4, Mk5 and Q were also affected, and that Coinkite had confirmed it. Then, AFTER this, he reposts Tomer Strolight, saying it is not yet confirmed that MK4 entropy is breached.

You make the software awful, there is no documentation, and then you just add all the bugs that you can exploit later.” More than a year earlier, his own firmware shipped an undocumented bad decision (the RNG rewrite) with a bug that would be exploited four years later.

From yesterday’s Strategy live investor Q&A where Natalie Brunell ⚡️ posed questions from investors to Michael Saylor and Phong Le. First question was a simple one: “What is SR-strcUSX, which you describe in that visual as digital money? And do you disagree that Bitcoin is money?” This led Saylor out on a more than 8 MINUTE LONG word salad rant. Here’s just a select few gems from his corporate word spagetti. At the end it was more unclear than ever if Saylor thinks Bitcoin is money and what kind of fiat abomination SR-strcUSX is. 🤷♂️

Samson, last fall you told two podcasts (clips attached) that Core had - "a lot of structural problems with the organization itself" - developers with "ulterior motives" doing "conflicted" things - a "laundry list": "backstabbing, internal politics, brigading, canceling people." You also said: "you'll get it eventually. I think it'll come to light." You knew about the issues, but waited for someone else to do the work. I did the work documenting this. Three articles (so far). IRS filings, SEC exhibits, PRs, IRC logs, archives, right of reply. The very structural and governance-related problems, documented line by line. My articles assert none of the motives you asserted. You went further on those podcasts than my articles ever go. And now that this all has come to light, meticulously sourced and documented, your response is: "some individuals doing questionable things," a little "cliques and groupthink", and a retweet of Adam calling the process "uniquely robust to special interest lobbies." This is the exact opposite of your own diagnosis on those podcasts. It's very strange to describe and predict that serious and very problematic dirty laundry will air, then call it a non-issue and join Adam's handwaving and misdirection when someone airs it.

I am so happy to hear that Jeff Booth ⚡️ has read the CAPTURE articles. And that he found that what it reveals matches exactly what he would expect if a centralized group performed a social attack on Bitcoin. Never forget that Adam Back is crusading X trying to prevent people from reading and informing themselves on the state of Bitcoin Core.

I am one of these stupid Cat/Racoon/Frog/Dinosaur pictures on Twitter, that Tone keeps shitting on. One of the "Knots Ideological crazies". I was also one of the many plebs who very vocally warned about Craig Wright and BSV back in 2018/2019, and I was unlucky enough to get targeted and take the full brunt of lawfare and harassment over a five year period for speaking the obvious truth out loud. What was Tone doing? He was doing fluff interviews and posing for selfies with Craig, like it was all a fun and relative little joke. This is how principles, or lack of them, translates into words and actions. And it explains why Tone is defending Core's philosophical pivot, while harshly trying to discredit and ridicule BIP-100 and Bitcoin Plebs. Principles seem to be a foreign concept to him. Take that into account before you listen to any advice he gives.
