Breaking: Sources tell me #Marlins Sonny Alcantara is being suspended 3 games by MLB for what the league described as an “obscene and unsportsmanlike gesture” directed at the #Braves dugout after surrendering a HR to Michael Harris II in Thursday night’s 9-3 loss. MLB says Alcantara “grabbed and shook his groin region multiple times” while standing on the mound. Alcantara plans to appeal the suspension, telling reporters he was “simply adjusting his belt.” More to come as this develops.
