I loved the background music and the songs chosen and created for each #tawaif , the freedom struggle as the constant backdrop, the decadence of the nawabs in a time of rapid change. And these queens of lahores #HeeraMandi : The Diamond Bazaar standing tall through it all 🔥 - sometimes showing and sometimes hiding their wounds. Manisha Koirala has never played this vile a character and the fact that two of the two of the foremost film makers of this century #ManiRatnam & #SanjayBhansali have worked with her have worked with her in important pieces of work shows her legendary status.
