The courts ruled clearly that police officers engaging the public in public places must have their uniform and their faces visible for the public to see their faces. Why are officers at the Coast not following this court order? Who are these special officers who don’t abide by court rulings? This impunity, when will it end?

India and Kenya are not far apart economically. 1 Indian Rupee is not more than 1.4 Kenya shillings. Yet India seems so advanced infrastructurally than Kenya. For example, Bangalore is not even the 3rd or 4th biggest city in India, yet its airport is so much bigger, more beautiful and more advanced than our JKIA. Why can’t Kenya match up???

Now police are curtailing freedom of movement! Nkt! Hundreds of youth from Nairobi who had attended the Diani Summer Tide Festival have been stopped at the Dongo Kundu bypass near Likoni, Mombasa. They were to catch the 2pm SGR to Nairobi but they have been stopped by police who are saying if allowed to proceed, the youth will go to Nairobi and attend 77 protests. Police have refused to release them saying they are awaiting “orders from above”. This is absolute madness. Freedom of movement is a constitutional guarantee. Now police want to dictate to Kenyans where to go and where not to?

Mr “With All Due Respect”, now that you agreed to negotiate with government and you are on the negotiating table, please don’t forget those that were killed by police during your protests. Ensure the victims not only get justice but also a decent burial as almost all of them came from poor backgrounds and their families are currently struggling to meet the costs of their funerals.

Arresting and charging us with terror related offenses will not deter us from demanding for change in this country. The People’s President is not a terrorist. The real terrorists who terrorise Kenyans are known - they kill Kenyans in police cells, they escort goons during protests to loot and vandalize, they shoot and kill innocent Kenyans during protests. #ActivistsAreNotTerrorists

Hii ni ujinga gani munafanya National Police Service-Kenya? Yaani you are letting this guy go after what he did? Ati you’re deporting him? What nonsense is that? He should be charged in a court of law, sentenced, serve time in jail then after that you deport him. The guy has openly insulted our police service and he can’t just walk scot free.
